CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN FIELD PRODUCTION/OPERATIONS
General Operators
2 years education, followed by 2 years general mechanical and instrument training. Good knowledge of English. At least 5 years experience in production and process operations, preferably in an offshore location.
Field Operators
High School education followed by 2 years Technical/Training. Good knowledge of English. At least 4 years in production and process operations preferably in an offshore location.
Senior Technical Assistant
Technical diploma / Degree (Engineering, Geology or Geophysics). PC literate (standard office packaqes). Excellent proficiency in handling spread sheet calculations. Eight years experience in Oil & Gas industry. Basic financial skills.
Field Technician (Instrument)
12 years education, followed by 2 years full time training in industrial instrumentation leading to possession of a recognized certificate. Good knowledge of English. 4 years experience in instrumentation, maintenance and repairs within the petrochemical industry.
Administration Supervisor
Secondary School and preferably Diploma in Administration with advance courses in computers. 8 years administrative experience in Senior Role(s) with particular knowledge of the PCs used by the Department and their various programs, procedures and systems used.
Senior Operator
12 years education, followed by at least 2 years general mechanical/instrument training. at a recognized institute. Good knowledge of English. 6 years experience in oil and gas production process, preferably at offshore locations.
